Patch 1.41 will be deployed 2am on Monday, March 9th in preparation of the upcoming release of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation in Europe. In addition to synchronizing all players with the European release, the 1.41 patch includes the following changes:<< congrats euprope.. you now need to install the game from the disc get online and download patch 1.10 then restart and log back on so that the game can tell you your saved data is now corrupt and that you have to log out delete the save data restart log back on download 1.30 restart only to log back on and finally download 1.41 only to restart a final time and finally you can play a game that was pushed back a year in the states and another what six months for europe only to find things missing like leaning and tossing a nade or jump-to-climb, or the classic stand by that made socom socom... join friends from friends list.... holly run on sentence batman... I just wanted to Mention a few things that are missing.
XMB presence - Medley Game information has been abbreviated, displaying all information required to identify the location of the player. << this is where I make the retard noise that carlos mencia makes when hes talking about stupid people. Late Join 'Hitch' improvements - addresses the pause experienced by players when someone late joins a game.
Navigating Screens With Large Clans – slow down issue fixed<< this is where I make the retard noise that carlos mencia makes when hes talking about stupid people.
Increased speed of fade at the beginning of the round. <<<< Say it isn't so... the black fog is what makes this game so great.
Quick Match -
Increased countdown timer in Quick Match Pre Game lobby from 20 to 60 seconds. Enabled Quick Match team switching. Ranked, Unranked and Unranked Respawn games, each contains 6 different playlists: 3 8vs8 and 3 16vs16 players.
Claymores can now be detonated when player is in the prone position << You mean this is why I couldn't get my freaking claymores to go off... you hit the freaking clacker and it goes click click click and it didn't work because I was in
freaking PRONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My god you are piss poor programmers.
Note: So where did 1.40 patch go! The 1.40 was intended to support the European release, we combined the 1.40 and the 1.41 together to speed the deployment of the above fixes. << as if we care about the number!!!!!!! Any one who isn't a moron or slant six programmer would realize that .41 is a slight modification to a .40 update. and would then contain the origianl update plus a little more... again retard noise inserted here.
Development continues on patch updates, additional content and improvements to the game. We thank everyone for their feedback on the title. Player counts remain very health and we look forward to the contribution that the European players will make to the Community. << yeah only if you think 15k is good when compaired to socom 2's 50k or socom 3/ca 25k normal counts 4 months after release.

Post update Update. So now... what did they break... well for one Me and my clanmates where in an 8v8 demo medely playing frost fire and what do you know... my clanmate spawns with the seals while on the terrorist side... Three kills pop up so quickly I am trying to figure out whats going on... the other clan comes out in the lobby and thought someone was teamkilling but found a terrorist had spawned with them. same game a different guy spawned on the catwalk just outside the terrorist spawn along the outer wall... made it nice and easy for him to land some nades on the seals base right as the cloud clears. Side Switch... I spawn as seal by the yellow crane... nice right... I am already half way to the warehouse and get three kills as the terrorists are running out of their base. Now I can't say for certain that my clanmates didn't do something purposefull to spawn else where but I can say for certainty I didn't do anything. Load times into the game can take much longer than ever... back to beta load times. Now I know I do feel stupid but the awareness said us central: 8~demo~1 and i spent like 5 min going up and down the list looking for central 8... and let me tell you there was no central 8... so after looking through the second time I sent my friend a message asking what room he was in and then it dawned on me... us central 8v8 demo 1... so the difference between us central 8: 8~demo~1 and us central: 8~demo~1 is a colon movement? really... I know I am nit picking but come on... a colon movement... (fyi your colon is where poop is made... lol) Oh and the late join hitch... fixed? no Addressed... sure look above they know about it...its been addressed.. fixed = no. SOCOM: Confrontation was officially announced during Sony Computer Entertainment America Gamers' Day on May 17, 2007 by Scott Steinberg, SCEA's Vice President of Product Marketing. It has now been 2 plus years of developement on half a game with half as many maps and its only half done. WAY TO GO SLANT SIX... STELLAR WORK.

Freaking A right! if the pause during players late joining hitch is fixed, this could be ready for some DLC and possibly the best game ever with enough DLC! I was praying you guys didn't give up and I am so happy that you didn't!

DLC should be #1 on your priority list not fixing the tournament feature and clan ladder feature every week when it breaks.
